Address
Ul. Spartanska 1, 02-637 Warsaw, Poland

Centrum Wsparcia Badań Klinicznych - CWBK (Clinical Trials Support Center) of the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation (NIGRiR) is a site conducting clinical trials in fields such as: rheumatology, immunology, neurology, cardiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pulmonology, and dermatology. In our modern center, clinical trials are conducted at the highest standard and with maximum comfort for patients.

CWBK, as a highly specialized unit, conducts clinical trials for patients from all over Poland, with particular attention to those who present diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, for whom participation in clinical trials may be the only chance to improve health, slow disease progression, or achieve remission.

The mission of CWBK’s experienced medical teams – doctors and nurses – is to ensure patients have access to modern forms of treatment, improving their health and quality of life, while maintaining the highest global standards of safety and respect for patient rights. The medical staff at CWBK is supported by a team of qualified administrative professionals experienced in managing medical and laboratory documentation in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

CWBK is actively involved in scientific and clinical initiatives with national and international research communities, paving the way for new projects, diagnostic methods, and future treatment solutions – namely, personalized medicine. The opportunity for these patients to participate in clinical trials not only opens access to drugs and therapies not financed by the National Health Fund (NFZ) but also reduces the cost of accessing and delivering treatment.
