History
Established in 1991, Fondazione ABAR-TU ETS originated from the transformation of the Associazione ABAR-TU onlus, initially formed by a group of parents at the Meyer Hospital. Recognized by the Region of Tuscany, the organization evolved into a legal entity known as a "fondazione di partecipazione" in July 2023. The foundation is headquartered in Sesto Fiorentino, Italy.
Mission and Goals
Fondazione ABAR-TU ETS is dedicated to advancing scientific research in the fields of rheumatic and immunomediated diseases. The organization aims to introduce innovative, non-invasive treatment methods for chronic pain and foster interdisciplinary medical practices. It seeks to create harmonized clinics across various medical specializations to streamline patient care and reduce the need for multiple specialist visits.
